I am writing to acknowledge your written request for information.

Thank you for your request for information, this has now been processed and the information that we hold is enclosed.

please can you advise me since introducing inner bin paper boxes

1) how many were supplied initially circa 40,000 were ordered. (this includes initial orders and tops ups several months after)

2) how many have since had to be replaced 9514

3) How much this has cost

a) to initially deploy and

b) for all the replacements 

 

Replacements approx £28,542 - £37,009.46 (the price of the boxes ranged from £3 to the current price of £3.89 since the period of introduction, this does not include any delivery costs as we do not hold this information) to initially deploy and

120k for all the replacements

 

4) Has any cost be bourne by the tax payer or by the contractor.

Both.  The council purchases the replacements the contractor pays for those they have lost/damaged.
