We’re looking to submit a freedom of information request to collect data around refunded parking charges in your area. Would you be able to provide the following statistics from the dates of 1st June 2017 – 31st December 2018.

 

  1. Number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCN) served for parking violations (ideally split out by not paying parking charges and parking in a disabled space without a badge)
    1. Total amount (in pounds) received from PCNs
    2. Number of PCNs appealed
    3. Number of appeals upheld
    4. Total amount (in pounds) refunded for upheld appeals
  2. Number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCN) served for driving in bus lanes
  3. Total amount (in pounds) received from PCNs
  4. Number of PCNs appealed
  5. Number of appeals upheld
  6. Total amount (in pounds) refunded for upheld appeals

If possible, it would be great to get these figures broken down on a monthly basis, ideally in spreadsheet format.

I am writing to acknowledge your written request for information.

Your request is being considered and you will receive the information requested within the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, subject to the information not being exempt or containing reference to a third party.

If possible, it would be great to get these figures broken down on a monthly basis, ideally in spreadsheet format. - It is not possible to break these figures down by monthly basis
