1. How many public health funerals has your council carried out each year for these financial years: 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/2019? 
 
2. Please state, out of the above figures, how many of those people were male and how many of those men had next of kin and how many of those men did not have next of kin? 

3. Please state, out of the above figures, how many of those people were female and how many of those women had next of kin and how many of those women did not have next of kin? 

 

4. Please state, out of the above figures, how many of those people were aged under 18, aged 18-59 or aged 60+


5. Please state, out of the above figures, how many of those people were cremated, how many were buried in a grave of their own and how many were buried in a shared or communal grave.

I am writing to acknowledge your written request for information.

The ratio of male to female can be extrapolated from the website, I have addressed the other element of this query under 5 below.

All graves for the burials listed below were single graves

 

Doris Stagg – cremation (there was a son but he was not contactable)

Alfred Stagg – burial (there was a son but he was not contactable)

Henryk Malinowski – cremation (no next of kin)

Norman Cadge – burial (no next of kin)

 

Alan Greening – burial (no next of kin)

Raymond Kennedy – burial (brother located via estate research company)

Jane Harvey – cremation (no next of kin)

 

Ruth Mellor – cremation (daughter but she was estranged from Ruth and did not wish to be involved)

Malcolm Wilson – burial (no next of kin)

 

Kelly Seymour – burial (partner and daughter)

Michael Smith – cremation (brother located)

Trevor Wilson – burial (daughter located)

Roger Davey – cremation, next of kin located in Truro, Cornwall.

 

 

Philip Barry – cremation (mother located via police family liaison)

Kenneth King – burial (son located in Scotland)

Philip Bradford – burial (No next of kin)

Shaun Cooke – cremation (an aunt and uncle)

 

William Dunning – burial (no next of kin)
