On 19th March and 18th April the government announced two tranches of emergency funding for local authorities to help them respond to coronavirus pressures.

Please can you tell me what area of council work that funding has been allocated to (both tranche one and two) and the amount of funding allocated to each piece of work.

The government has also given £1.3bn to support NHS and social care discharge and £600m for infection control in care homes. East Herts Council Response

11 June 2020

Thank you for your request for information, this has now been processed and the information that we hold is enclosed.

On 19th March and 18th April the government announced two tranches of emergency funding for local authorities to help them respond to coronavirus pressures.

Please can you tell me what area of council work that funding has been allocated to (both tranche one and two) and the amount of funding allocated to each piece of work. No decisions on allocation have yet been taken by Members and so this funding remains available to support any additional spending incurred across the Council in responding to Cv19.

The government has also given £1.3bn to support NHS and social care discharge and £600m for infection control in care homes. Please can you also tell me how this money has been allocated and list the care homes in the local authority area which are receiving a part of the fund and how much each will receive. This is a question for Hertfordshire  County Council as this falls within their remit and not EHDC.

If you have any queries or complaint about the processing of your request please do not hesitate to contact me.
