Thank you for your request for information, this has now been processed and the information that we hold is enclosed.

  1. How do you complete ergonomic/DSE workstation assessments, including to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations and make "reasonable adjustments" in line with the Equality Act?

 

All employees are required to complete a DSE and Workstation Self-Assessment Questionnaire that generates a risk rating score.  The questionnaire is an Excel based document using the HSE Assessment criteria.  All assessments are returned to the H&S Officer and evaluated.  Assessments are issued to all existing employees and new starter and reviewed every two years or sooner.

 

Where a specific need has been identified steps are taken to make arrangements for a more detailed measured assessment to be carried out and where necessary and supported adaptive equipment, furniture and peripherals can be supplied.
