  • What does your website currently use cookies for?

  • Do you currently ask for users’ consent before setting any cookies that are non essential to providing the service?

 

Website design

  • Has your local council website been evaluated against the government’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines? If not, are there plans to do so in the next 12 months?
  • How much have you invested in the past a) 12 months and b) in total, to make your council’s website accessible?

Cookies and cookie policy

  • Does your website currently have third party cookies? We do not pass any of your personal data to outside organisations and/or individuals, except with your express consent or where required for the purposes of fraud detection or prevention. We do not collect personal information for commercial purposes (for example - we do not sell information to other companies or organisations)

 

 

 

  • Do you currently ask for users’ consent before setting any cookies that are non essential to providing the service? There is currently a cookie consent pop-up in place.

 

Website design

  1. Has your local council website been evaluated against the government’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines? If not, are there plans to do so in the next 12 months?

Accessibility audit (main site) - July 2020

Garden Waste Portal audit - January 2021

Plus ongoing testing using automated accessibility tools

 

  1. How much have you invested in the past a) 12 months and b) in total, to make your council’s website accessible?

Cost of the audit - £4,880

Cost of Garden Waste audit - £3,500 (paid for by the shared waste service)

No additional development costs
