Please can you email me a list of businesses that qualify for Charitable Rates Relief but haven"t applied for it.  The below points are what I would like to request: 

  • The name of the rate payer 
  • The start date of the business rates account 
  • Rates account number and/or property reference
  • Applied for charitable rates relief (Yes or No) 
  • The full property address of the property  
  • The full amount of credit you hold for the business (if any)

From the information provided to us by business rates payers it is not always possible to determine if that business would qualify for charity relief so we do not hold data on business rates that qualify but have not applied.

Once evidence is provided charity relief is then applied

We do not provide information on business rates credits

for your request for information, this has now been processed and the information that we hold is enclosed.
