Thank you for your request for information, this has now been processed and the information that we hold is enclosed.
Data relating to Local Authority land is published on our website here https://www.eastherts.gov.uk/about-east-herts-0/local-authority-land
I have attached a list of the latest asset valuations as at 31st March 2021. Please note that these valuations are used for capital accounting purposes and follow guidelines set by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA) they therefore do not necessarily represent the open market value of the asset. The list does not include the Council"s Community Assets as these are not valued being held in the accounts at historic cost - this includes public parks, amenity areas, bowling greens, land for scout clubs etc. Details of all land and buildings owned by the Council can be found on our website above and any information on date, details of vendor and cost of purchase is publicly available at Land Registry.
If you are unsatisfied with the way the Council has handled your request please let us know in the first instance so that an internal review can be carried out. Additionally, If you have any queries about the processing of your request please do not hesitate to contact me.
